Alvin and Dr. Recharlette ‘Recy’ Hargraves are co-authors, ministry leaders, and the founders of Touch Not Ministries—a Christ-centered movement where testimony becomes transformation and covenant love becomes legacy.

Touch Not Ministries was born from a powerful story of survival and restoration. Dr. Recy’s debut book, Touch Not! Living Through the Fire, is not just a memoir; it is her testimony of how God pulled her out of devastation and rebuilt her life through truth, boundaries, healing, and His relentless love. Her story finds its fulfillment in covenant with her husband, Alvin, whose steady, faithful love reflects the heart of Christ.

From that testimony came a shared calling: to strengthen marriages, restore families, empower survivors, protect children, and bring hope to communities. What began as one woman’s journey now stands as a united mission to remind every heart that scars are not shame; they are proof of strength and God’s redemption.

Alvin serves faithfully in church leadership and brings wisdom shaped by perseverance, fatherhood, and a life of humble service. His heart for men, families, and spiritual covering is woven into every part of their ministry.

Dr. Recy is a transparent, faith-based writer who believes that her testimony is a tool God uses to change lives. She writes from a place of truth, healing, and obedience. Because God saved her life, she is committed to helping save others. She holds undergraduate degrees in Human Services Counseling and Special Education, a Master’s degree in Education, and a Doctoral degree in K–12 School Leadership. As a mother of eight and a survivor, she speaks with authenticity, compassion, and spiritual authority.

Together, Alvin and Dr. Recy lead with a mission of healing hearts, restoring families, and equipping warriors. Their books, Touch Not! and W.A.R. — Willing, Able, & Ready, reflect their heart for deliverance, identity, covenant, and victorious living.
